The sun is shining, the weather is sweet, makes you want to move your dancing feet! Sorry, we couldn't resist, we're just so excited that the summer has finally arrived!
As much as we love it - we don’t handle the heat well. In Ayurveda, we both have a lot of Pitta (fire) in our Dosha (body constitution). So, we’re always looking for ways to keep cool - so we can enjoy the much-loved sunshine!
We came across a recipe for this Watermelon Coconut Agua Fresca on our travels, by a blogger called Caroline’s Cooking. She has some other lovely recipes - so well worth checking out!
We love the recipe and have adapted it slightly for personal taste. Also, If you do want to spice it up a little, we can recommend going 'circa 2000' - and adding a little coconut rum to the mix!
